Senior Centers in Manhattan

Lenox Hill Neighborhood House

  • Lenox Hill Neighborhood House has served New York residents as a nonprofit settlement house for 127 years.

Senior Centers in Brooklyn

JASA

  • JASA provides seniors in New York City with affordable housing options, free legal services, mental health and health services, and home delivered meals.

New York Memory Center

  • Focuses on supporting adults with memory loss through evidence-based home and community services.

Heights and Hills

  • Heights and Hills is one of the largest Brooklyn nonprofit organizations serving more than 5,000 older adults and their families with a variety of essential services
  • Services include social services for homebound older adults, caregiver support for families and friends, volunteer and intergenerational programs that engage the larger community as well as The Park Slope Center for Successful Aging, a neighborhood hub for active older adults

Queens Community House

  • Queens Community House provides culturally-rich environments where older adults can engage with peers, make new friends, enjoy a hot meal, keep physically active, learn new skills and explore new interests, and give back through volunteer opportunities

Selfhelp   

  • Founded in 1936 to care for US immigrants fleeing Nazi prosecution. 
  • Helps provide comprehensive senior services to over 5,300 elderly and frail individuals across New York City. 
  • Owns and operates 12 affordable apartment buildings in Queens and the Bronx. 
  • They manage five Senior Centers across New York. 
  • Selfhelp offers case management services to help vulnerable seniors continue to live independently in their homes.

Commonpoint Queens Older Adult Center

  • Commonpoint Queens’ Older Adult programming aims to offer fresh, innovative and engaging programs for our members

RSS
